Consumer returns (online orders)
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have the right to cancel your order under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (where applicable). If you cancel, you should tell us clearly (for example by email) and return items in resaleable condition.
Condition of returned items
- Items should be returned unused, undamaged and, where possible, in original packaging.
- Any included accessories, instructions and components must be returned.
- Where an item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and function, a deduction may be applied to reflect any loss in value (where permitted).
Trade / business purchases
For trade and business customers, cancellation rights may differ. We will still aim to be fair and reasonable and will confirm eligibility and any applicable restocking conditions when you contact us.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
If goods arrive faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos where relevant. We will arrange the most appropriate remedy (replacement, repair, or refund) in line with your statutory rights.
How to request a return
Please email contact@spotdownlights.co.uk with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for return
- Photos (required for damage/fault claims)
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Processing times can vary depending on your bank/payment provider.
Packaging and transit responsibility
Please package returns securely. Until we receive the returned goods, the sender is responsible for them in transit (unless we have arranged collection or return shipping for damaged/faulty goods).
