Matt Chrome IP44 Recessed Downlight Frame – GU10 / MR16
A matt chrome trim gives this recessed downlight a softer metallic finish than polished chrome. The IP44-rated frame is designed around the G5.3/GU10 lamp formats, allowing you to choose the lamp output and white tone separately.
Light and specification
The frame does not determine brightness or colour temperature: these come from the lamp you select. Match the lamp diameter, holder and supply voltage to the complete assembly. A GU10 lamp and a G5.3 lamp use different electrical connections, so they should not be treated as interchangeable at the holder.
Installation and supplied item
Check the installation drawing for the ceiling opening and space behind the fitting before cutting. IP44 is an enclosure rating; the finished installation and its position must also be suitable for the room. This listing is for one frame, with the lamp chosen separately.
